Change Your Words, Change Your Mindset

I believe there is a lot of power in our words. If we say something enough times – even if we don’t believe it to begin with – it eventually becomes our truth.

Anthony Robbins highlights the power of words in an article – Transform your vocabulary, transform your life:

Transformational Vocabulary is about how you can take control of your habitual vocabulary to change the quality of your life. The words that we attach to our experience become our experience, regardless of whether it’s objectively accurate or not.

So when I saw the following chart in an education forum, I felt compelled to share it. If you have ever struggled to help your children build a growth mindset – especially if you have a glass half empty child – why not give this a try. Help your children change their mindset by using the power of words…
