Fun Activities: Let’s Go Mining!

G2 has developed a fascination for tunnels. I think he saw it in a book somewhere. He kept insisting that he wanted to go “tunnelling”, so I made him the following obstacle “tunnel” course. I hid a few “treasures”, gave him a torch and sent him “mining”.

Tunnelling...

G1 got into the real spirit of things pretending to be Howard Carter investigating an ancient Egyptian tomb with Lord Carnarvon a.k.a. G2… To hear the boys tell it, you would think I was the best Mama ever. Ah… makes all the effort worth it…

You can make your own tunnels by throwing a few blankets over your dining table chairs, or if you have large boxes – tape them together in a row. You can get play tunnel tubes.
