With Aristotle on holidays, I’ve been trying to keep him busy with various activities. Yesterday, I discovered that some of the most entertaining activities that a child can be kept busy with are actually very simple. In fact, Aristotle discovered this one from a book he borrowed from school called “Fun Things to Make and Do” by Rosie Casselden.
What you will need:
- cardboard
- pencils and markers
- safety scissors
We didn’t have cardboard so I used a sheet from our drawing block which is slightly thicker and firmer than regular paper. Draw a picture and colour it in. Then cut up the picture into pieces. Mix the pieces up and work out the puzzle.
This is Arisotle’s jigsaw puzzle:
It’s called the History of the World. It depicts the dawn of the dinosaurs and their evolution to their destruction with the asteroid and volcanic action to the appearance of early cavemen all the way up to modern man and their discovery of the dinosaur fossils. The End.
Or at least so he says.
