If you downloaded my Periodic Table Elements 1-10 from the Figur8 General Knowledge Flash Cards Resource Page, you would have noticed those very cool element pictures I borrowed from the Internet. Well, they come from Theodore Gray’s Periodic Table. And if you loved the pictures, you will be delighted to know that he sells them on posters:
There is also a beautiful card deck:
Here’s the front:
And the back contains some useful information about each element:
There is also an Elements Game (for 8 years old and above) which would have made learning Chemistry that much more fun:
If you’re looking for Periodic Table Games, you should also take a look at Periodic Quest – winner of 8 popular children’s product awards, including Dr. Toy Award and Mom’s Choice Award.
A Periodic Table Elements 1000 piece Jigsaw Puzzle:
Theodore Gray has also created:
- The Elements book – a visual exploration of every known atom in the universe
- Mad Science – books 1 and 2 which are filled with science experiments for older children
- iPad app – which is actually more of an ebook but still very cool! Check out the video of the iPad app.
You can also watch a sample of Mad Science Experiments by Theodore Gray.
For more videos, you can find them on Periodictabledotcom’s Youtube Channel. You can also read about it on Theo Gray’s Mad Science website.
Hi Shenli,
Appreciate for this wonderful recommendation, I am thrilled to see this complete set for my daughter, at least she would have clarity to understand what are the usefulness to know all elements in existence. Cant wait to grab one since she started reciting periodic tables at 3, at least I could consider I have ended my teaching well enough by introducong some real practical books to her. Convey my sincere thanks.
